| To search for publications, type search terms in one or more boxes. The Free text search is a Google-type search which combines all terms you enter. You can select from the options next to the boxes to combine boxes in different ways: AND: the results must contain all the terms you enter in the boxes linked by ‘AND’. OR: the results must contain one or more of the terms you enter in the boxes linked by ‘OR’, but not necessarily all of them. NOT: the results may not contain the terms you enter. Within the boxes you can use the symbols &, / or ! between words or phrases to represent AND, OR, NOT. Include a space before and after the symbol. If there are no connectors, the system will search for the phrase you entered. To find variations based on word stems, type an asterisk at the end of one or more words. E.g.: ‘model*’ will find model, models, modelling, etc. The ‘List options’ buttons allow you to browse possible terms to use. Please note that BAJ, JIA and TFA are on the system as such, and not under their full title. Enter single year or date range, eg 1990:2000 Please click on the Search help button for more advice. |
